Paste Paper is a patterned or textured paper made by applying brushes and hand tools to the surface of a paper that has been coated with thin colored paste. In this class we will experiment with several paste paper techniques to create your own set of paste papers. We will also use paste paper to create a your own unique journal.

In this class we will be experimenting with layering paint colors and textures to create a variety of designs. The papers you create in this class can be used for note cards, collages, scrapbooking, bookbinding or even on their own as a piece of artwork. Each person will leave with 4 to 6 pieces of paste paper - 8.5” x 11” each.
